- The facility includes 3,000 acres. Presently 1,200 acres have been developed.
- One of only three concrete ovals in America. The other two are Dover Downs and Bristol Motor Speedway.
- Ground was broken August 1999.
- When Phase II construction is complete, the facility will be the largest motorsports complex in the nation.
- At the end of Phase II, the facility will feature a 1.8-mile road course, 1/4-mile dirt track, 5/8-mile paved oval, Legends oval track and a ¼-mile dragstrip.
- Track plays host to night racing using innovative Musco Lighting system that incorporates mirrors to simulate daylight and reduce glare.
- Inaugural event is scheduled to be an ARCA race on April 13, 2001, followed by the NASCAR Busch Series on April 14.
